FROM FAN TO FAVORITE: THE ROAD TO OMEGA'S GRAND AMBASSADOR TITLE

We all have a favorite brand that we adore for the products it offers but also for the ideas it sells.

It is not difficult to imagine that Omega is such a brand for many people. The company embodies history, quality, and ideals.

However, how many of us get to have this adored brand recognize us as the best at what we do?

Giulian proudly announces that one of the firm's employees received such recognition from Omega.

Yavor Tsvetanov, young and ambitious, joines the Giulian team almost 2 years ago. He becomes an irreplaceable part of the company's most iconic boutique, located at 74 G.S. Rakovski St. in Sofia.

Yavor begins his journey at Giulian with basic knowledge of the fundamental aspects of Omega’s brand identity. Furthermore, time proves not to be his enemy but rather a challenge that encourages him to seek more knowledge. He studies each collection, delves into the brand's history, and gains an understanding of Omega as one of the most significant watchmaking brands in the world.

After some time at Giulian, Yavor is selected to attend one of the most desired events for anyone involved in watch trading: the Omega Academy. The Omega Academy is a training program organized for the top-performing brand representatives from around the world.

Yavor's first training of this kind takes place in Prague, Czech Republic, in September 2023. He describes the experience as an interactive process where all attendees actively participate, showcasing their knowledge. He shares that he felt comfortable in a friendly atmosphere and remains enthusiastic about the information he acquired about Omega watches. Yavor returns to Sofia with the title of "Omega Ambassador" and a sense of pride for meeting the brand's high standards and requirements. This recognition brings him confidence and a newfound closeness to the brand.

Yavor's next venture begins in February 2024 in Biel, Switzerland. Despite a bumpy start due to delayed luggage, he faces the challenge with a smile. He meets with the president of Omega, and this encounter highlights the true significance of his role as an ambassador for the brand. Amid exhaustion and unexpected circumstances, Yavor realizes that he is not only the sole representative from Bulgaria but also the only representative from Eastern Europe among the sixteen best in the world.

A bigger surprise for Yavor turns out to be the fact that all other attendees have over 12-13 years of experience in the field, while he has been in the watch-selling business for just a year and 9 months. Among the other ambassadors, Yavor finds people from all over the world, including USA, Italy, England, Canada, Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, India, Switzerland, and many others.

His trip to Biel includes a visit to Omega’s HQ and the Omega museum, interactive activities, enjoyable moments with delicious food, good company, and a test that defines him as the top-performing Grand Ambassador of Omega.

Yavor describes his visit to the Omega HQ as a journey into a science fiction movie. With robots and watchmakers working with exceptional precision and passion. He points out the most memorable aspect of it all as being the opportunity to see the extremely rare De Ville Tourbillon in person, a timepiece that very few people ever get the chance to see up close.

According to Yavor, the Omega museum represents a true journey through time, where each exhibition unveils unique stories and significant moments from the brand's development. In this world of timepieces, the importance of customer service is emphasized as the true luxury.

Yavor describes the training itself as comprehensive and thorough, encompassing both practical skills and theoretical knowledge. He shares that the most significant aspect for him was the practical assembly and disassembly of the timepieces, which made him feel like a true master of time.

Yavor sees his award as first among the Grand Ambassadors worldwide, not only as recognition for his efforts but also as a commitment to uphold the brand's high standards. When asked, "What was the thing that stayed with you after this whole experience?" he replied:

‘’It became clear to me why Omega watches are so special. The entire experience showed me the true meaning of world-class quality and professionalism. I was deeply impressed by the attitude of the Omega team. I now have a more special relationship with the brand.’’

After a few incredible days in Biel, Yavor returns home as a Grand Ambassador of Omega. The highest title one can earn... for now.
